Last month, the Washington State Chapter of NAIOP (Commercial Real Estate Development Association) hosted their annual Night of the Stars; Google Building D was announced the winner for Office Interior of the Year!
The goal for this space was to help employees feel connected to the environment while working. The building’s design team created four distinct “neighborhoods” inspired by the Northwest’s ecosystems: Sound, Valley, Forest and Mountain. The workplace includes traditional desks, formal and informal small and large meeting spaces, a “tech-talk” lecture hall, and a full-fledged suite of luxuries featuring micro kitchens, a full-service canteen, active recreation and fitness areas, and relaxation areas including massage suites.
