Altaire at Jackson Park

July 2024

About the Project

Altaire at Jackson Park will be a 9 story, 186,683 square foot, 207-unit Affordable Housing (LIHTC) project in NE Seattle. Featuring a unit mix of studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom, there will also be common laundry areas on every floor, a community room for private parties, family events and community gathering, a central courtyard equipped with an outdoor sink, two barbeques and moveable tables, a landscaped community garden and an outdoor naturalistic play area, including a slide mound and plenty of seating. There will be 32 parking stalls onsite.

Scheduled completion date is Q1 2026

Scheduled Work

Significant progress has been made on the Altaire at Jackson Park project. We have completed all major shear wall footings on the west slab-on-grade portion of the building and are nearing the end of the footings in that area. Plumbing underground trenching is ongoing and is expected to be completed by next week. We anticipate pouring the first half of our Level 1 deck by the end of the month.

We are about 80 to 90 percent done with all vertical work from the P0 parking garage level to Level 1. The detention tank walls have been cast, and the lid should be fully installed by the end of the month. The Level 1 slab-on-grade is progressing, with plumbing undergrounding and the remaining perimeter and pier footings on the west side of the L1 slab underway. Concrete work is proceeding well, and we are moving towards completing the foundational work and starting on the elevated decks.

Planned Street Interruptions

Attention commuters:  Please note that on concrete pour days, we will close one lane of the road, leaving an additional lane for southbound traffic. Uniformed Police Officers (UPOs) will be on site to facilitate traffic flow. During deliveries, trucks may need to swing wide and back in, potentially blocking a few lanes and causing mild delays as they access the site.

We kindly ask all neighbors to exercise caution while walking around the site and to bear with us as we progress with this necessary construction activity. Rest assured, we are committed to minimizing any disruptions and will make every effort to ensure that construction activities do not disturb residents during quiet hours

We apologize for any inconveniences throughout the construction process. The safety of all employees, neighbors and the general public is our number one priority. Please be aware of changing conditions in the public right-of-way as sidewalk and street conditions are ever changing. Heavy equipment is entering and exiting the jobsite regularly. Please be aware of your surroundings and help us keep this project safe and free of injury.

Thank you.
