Altaire at Jackson Park
About the Project
Altaire at Jackson Park will be a 9 story, 186,683 square foot, 207-unit Affordable Housing (LIHTC) project in NE Seattle. Featuring a unit mix of studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom, there will also be common laundry areas on every floor, a community room for private parties, family events and community gathering, a central courtyard equipped with an outdoor sink, two barbeques and moveable tables, a landscaped community garden and an outdoor naturalistic play area, including a slide mound and plenty of seating. There will be 32 parking stalls onsite.
Scheduled completion date is Q1 2026
Altaire at Jackson Park has kicked off construction, starting with the demolition of the existing building on February 7th. Shoring and excavation crews will be mobilizing within the few couple weeks of February to prepare for the mass excavation phase of this 207-unit affordable housing apartment complex.
Planned Street Interruptions
There will be substantial deliveries to the site within the first few weeks with steel arriving and large equipment, like drill rigs and excavators showing up to the site. This will cause some interruptions to 15th Avenue since that is the only access into the site. Drives on 15th Ave. can expect some lane restrictions and likely some lane narrowing throughout the day. We will have flaggers posted on 15th to help facilitate traffic.
We apologize for any inconveniences throughout the construction process. The safety of all employees, neighbors and the general public is our number one priority. Please be aware of changing conditions in the public right-of-way as sidewalk and street conditions are ever changing. Heavy equipment is entering and exiting the jobsite regularly. Please be aware of your surroundings and help us keep this project safe and free of injury.
Hours of Operation
