SRM Breaks Ground on Altaire at Queen Anne Affordable Housing Development

SRM is proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of Altaire at Queen Anne, a 114-unit affordable housing community coming to Seattle’s Lower Queen Anne neighborhood.

In partnership with the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle and a strong coalition of public and private partners, this project will transform a site into much-needed housing for local workers, families, and artists.

Altaire at Queen Anne will offer a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes for households earning between $66K–$100K annually—expanding access to affordable housing in one of Seattle’s higher-cost neighborhoods.

We’re grateful to work alongside partners including the Seattle Office of Housing, Amazon Housing Fund, Washington State Housing Finance Commission, Citi, and PNC Bank to bring this project to life.

Design partners on the project include Runberg Architecture Group, AMH Design, LLC, KPFF Consulting Engineers, Brumbaugh Associates, Emerald City Engineers, Inc., Terracon, NV5, DCI Engineers and Duncanson Company.

Move-ins are anticipated in November 2027.
